Gelair™ Air-conditioning Blocks (AB0.5, AB1.0, AB2.0 and AB4.0) are a patented formulation of the highest quality Australian tea tree oil in a biodegradable gel which slowly releases the essential oil into the air while the air conditioning system operates. No alterations to the air conditioning system are required.
Gelair is a natural, biodegradable gel which contains 10% pure Australian tea tree oil in a gel base made from seaweed. Micro-fine droplets of tea tree oil, control the growth of mold (mould) and bacteria– through their release into the moving air stream of an air-conditioning system. The gel disperses the tea tree throughout the air-conditioning system as well as the rooms supplied by the air conditioning system controlling the colonies of mold and bacteria.

If the Gelair ABs are replaced regularly, it stops the re-occurrence of the mold and bacteria.

Another Gelair product is Gelair Solution. This can be used in spray bottles to clean cooling coils in air conditioning systems where there is likely to be growth of mold and bacteria. The coils also collect dust which provides a food source for the mold and bacteria. Gelair Solution is formulated to enable cleaning of the coils as well as surfaces which may harbour mold and bacteria. The Gelair can be left on these surfaces for some time before being cleaned off with water and a cloth.
